The Foundation

The Evagoras and Kathleen Lanitis Foundation was founded in November 2001 by Costas, Platon, Marios and Isabella Lanitis, children of Evagoras and Kathleen Lanitis.

The Man Behind

Evagoras K. Lanitis was born in Limassol on October 10th, 1921 and passed away on November 7th, 1992. He was married to Kathleen McGougan in 1949, with whom he had four children.

Lanitis Group

The Lanitis Group, one of the largest business groups in Cyprus, was established towards the end of the 19th century and is currently under the leadership of the fourth generation of the Lanitis family.
